The Florida Department of Transportation has a new tool for the Florida 511 (FL511) Traveler Information System. Florida’s residents and visitors can now access 511 traffic information on Twitter. FDOT recently launched 12 Twitter feeds, including regional, roadway, and a statewide feed to provide the same traffic information as the phone system, FL511.com, and the FL511 smartphone app through this popular social media network.
